One of the most fulfilling parts of a land-clearing business is taking ordinary spaces and turning them into stunning landscapes.
What We Do
Wisconsin Land Management will work with you to assess your unique land situation and put a plan together. There are multiple ways to go about this including GPS and computers, or if you already have a plan in mind, WLM will work with what is best for you and your property. The grading plan is often made by an architect, designer, or by Cody the owner of WLM can make a plan.
We follow up with an elevation survey to assess water mitigation depending on the property. We have to ensure the land is at the proper elevation. From there we start grading for proper water runoff. We also offer precision grading utilizing GPS for larger properties or smaller lots with garages or barns. Although there are cases where the property owner wants to keep the natural feel of the landscape, in other words, uneven ground, which we can also take into consideration.
From large lots to smaller lots, WLM does it all. We can certainly handle most projects in which we will first establish an agreed-upon timeframe in advance during the planning phase to ensure we can meet the needs of any deadlines that you may have.
Once the plan is set, the team gets to work on the land. WLM services include demolition, concrete removal, tree cutting and removal, forestry mulching, stump removal, grading of the soil, and grass seed. We integrate stonework, while specialized concrete jobs are subcontracted out.
When we make a driveway, patio, parking lot, or anything you don’t want weeds coming through, we install GeoFabric before installing stone. WLM Can install all different types of material depending on what the project vision has in store, including different edges and topsoil options. He helps to make the best decision per property taking into account your ideal outcome along with the realities of the unique landscape.
Stone setups are put up wherever needed, taking into account the trenches for electrical and gas setup. The services we offer differ greatly per property and scope. Some may need gravel pads, land clearing, and grading, while others include wrecking buildings and extreme demolition. We have the resources and knowledge to conquer the challenges that can surprisingly occur.
Previous clients are very pleased with how closely Cody, is involved with every job, He collaborates thoroughly with the owner of the project to ensure all needs are met and nothing gets missed along the way. By working directly and hands-on while managing his team throughout, the communication stays clear and that is what we strive for. Communication is key. Especially when changes become apparent as we start clearing the property. This sets us apart from other companies who claim to be more involved than they actually are.
